Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president K.T. Rama Rao sneezed at an event in Sircilla, causing flutter in the state. Later, KTR confirmed that it was due to an allergy of which he had been suffering for years.
The minister, during a meeting with officials in Rajanna Sircilla, was found sneezing repeatedly and this video went viral.
With Covid-19 cases increasing by the day, many began enquiring the minister about his health. A Twitter user, G. Subramanyasastry tweeted, “@KTRTRS Sir. Disturbed to know that you were down with flu symptoms yesterday in Sircilla. Concerned about your health. You have been a Covid warrior since the virus engulfed us, unmindful of your health. Please reassure us about your health. You are our hope. Please take care.”

On Monday, the minister who visited Sircilla inaugurated a sewing centre at the Textile Park in Baddenapalli of Thangallapalli block.
As of May 11, Telangana reported 1,275 coronavirus cases. Yesterday, there was a sudden rise and 79 Covid-19 positive cases were registered in the state, of which, 63 were from Hyderabad.
