ACA had produced players such as MSK Prasad of Guntur who is the present chief selector of BCCI and Y Venugopala Rao of Vizag, who played for team India and also Hanuma Vihari.

In the women category, recently Sabbineni Meghana was selected for Indian women’s cricket team that will take on the T-20 world champions West Indies in three T-20 matches to be played at Mulapadu stadium in Vijayawada from November 18. Meghana is the third cricketer from ACA to represent the country. Earlier, V Sneha Deepthi and R Kalpana had worn the Indian colours.
