Andhra Police books ex-whip, and TD leader Ravi Kumar

According to sources and Amadalavalasa circle inspector (CI), Bora Prasad the former whip visited the Sarubujjili Mandal Parishad office on Monday along with some TD leaders to raise some issues at the spandana programme.
Mr Kuna Ravi Kumar got irritated with the Mandal Parishad development officer (MPDO), Altada Damodar Rao and his staff. Mr Ravi Kumar then used vulgar language on the officials and threatened to beat them up by closing the doors of the office. Mr Ravi Kumar added that he would not tolerate injustice done to anyone in the name of politics. Insulted and fearing for his life the MPDO on Monday night lodged a complaint with the police. The police registered a case against former whip and 12 others on Tuesday under Sections 143, 149, 353, 427 and 506 of the Indian penal code (IPC). In addition, they also registered a case under Section 3 of the prevention of public property damage Act. The CI said, "We have deployed special police teams to arrest the accused Kuna Ravi Kumar and 12 others who are absconding."
APNGOs association district president H. Sai Ram and executive body members expressed ire on former whip for his rude and indecent behaviour in a public office. They demanded an open apology for insulting the government servants and warned of phase-wise agitations against former whip Kuna Ravi Kumar's vulgar behaviour.
