Andhra Pradesh SSC exams to begin from July 10

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has declared that they will conduct the Class-X (SSC-Secondary School Certificate) examinations from July 10 to July 15. The AP government has also taken decision to reduce the exams to six papers instead of the usual eleven papers, considering the Covid-19 crisis and to complete the examinations at earliest.
AP education minister Adimulapu Suresh said that the SSC examinations will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm as per the schedule. In addition to this, he said that social distancing will be strictly followed at examination centres and limited number of students will be allocated to each examination hall.
He also said that seating arrangements will be made following guidelines on social distancing. Face mask is also mandatory at the examination hall. While there are two papers for all subjects expect second languages usually, this time they have been made into a single paper, so that examinations can be finished soon and admission processes may start, the minister said.
