AP chief minister's father-in-law Gangi Reddy passes away

Gangi Reddy was undergoing treatment in a private hospital at Hyderabad. A renowned doctor in Pulivendula, Gangi Reddy was known for his services to poor people.

Gangi Reddy was the father of YS Bharathi Reddy, wife of Jagan Mohan Reddy. He had served as MP of Pulivendula from 2001 to 2005. He also took part in Padayathra in 2003 from Pulivendula to Kadapa collectorate to demand seeds for farmers in Rabi season.
The funeral of Gangi Reddy will be held at Pulivendula in Kadapa district on Saturday. The chief minister will participate in the last rites of Gangi Reddy.
