AP CM Jagan cancels meet with PM Modi to attend funeral of a close associate
By Newsmeter Network Published on 6 Dec 2019 7:15 PM ISTHyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy cancelled his New Delhi tour following the demise of his close associate Narayana, who hails from Diguvapalle village in Anantapuram.
Jagan had reached the national capital on Thursday evening, and he was expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss pending issues of the state. The AP CM had also scheduled a meeting with Union Minister for Home Amit Shah. However, he rescheduled his trip and reached Diguvapalle village around 4 pm, to attend the funeral. Narayana has been associated with the YSR family for the last three decades.
Jaganās trip has drawn the attention of the opposition TDP and Jana Sena, following the speculations that few YSRCP MPs are reportedly in touch with BJP. Narsapuram MP Raghurama Krishna Raju, who has an association with Narendra Modi, became the centre of attraction.
The PM had greeted the latter during the start of the winter sessions. These developments gave room to speculations that few YSRCP MPs are in touch with the BJPās top brass. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy wants to have a detailed dialogue with the PM and Amit Shah, in a proactive approach instead of a confrontation.
