AP EAMCET results: Boys sweep engineering stream, girls shine in agriculture sciences

Speaking to newsmen here on Saturday, Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh said that special measures were taken to conduct the examinations and 97 candidates infected with COVID appeared for the exam.
In Engineering, 84 percent (1,33,067 candidates) have qualified; 79,039 are boys and 54,036 are girls. A total of 1.56 lakh candidates had appeared in the test.
In Agriculture, 91.77 percent (75,858 candidates) have qualified; 47,196 are girls and 22,420 are boys. As many as 75,858 candidates had appeared for the exam.
Adimulalupu Suresh has said that the name of the EAMCET would be changed next year as the medicine stream was excluded from the common entrance test. He lauded the JNTU-Kakinada authorities for successfully conducting the test amid COVID alert.
