Bandi Sanjay  announces office-bearers of TS BJP

Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar announced party’s new state committee comprising 23 office- bearers and 8 state Morcha presidents. There are 8 secretaries, 4 general secretaries, 2 treasurers and an office secretary.

Dr G. Vijaya Rama Rao, Chithala Ramachandra Reddy, Sankineni Venkateswara Rao, Yendala Laxmi Narayana, N.V.S.S. Prabhakar, Yennam Srinivas Reddy, G. Manohar Reddy and Bandaru Shobha Rani have been appointed as vice presidents.

“After being appointed as the state president, Sanjay formed his first committee, which will work towards achieving the objectives set by the national party. The committee has a good mix of experienced and young leaders who have been given key positions, apart from giving due prominence to each community,” said Krishna Sagar Rao, re-appointed as BJP chief spokesperson of the state.

While G. Premender Reddy, Dugyala Pradeep Kumar, Kumari Bangaru Shruthi were appointed as general secretaries of the party, Manthri Srinivasulu was appointed the organising secretary.

“For the first time, a Dalit woman was appointed as one of the general secretaries of the party and this was done to do social justice and ensure women empowerment,” said Krishna Sagar Rao.

Eight party leaders, including Raghunandan Rao, Prakash Reddy, M. Srinivas Reddy, Bomma Jaya Sree, Palle Ganga reddy, Kunja Satyavathi, K. Madhava and G. Uma Rani, were appointed as secretaries. Bhandari Shanthi Kumar and Bavarlal Varma are treasurers.

Apart from the office bearers, A. Bhanu Prakash was appointed as Yuva Morcha president,

K. Geetha Murthy as Mahila Morcha president, Kondapally Sridhar Reddy as Kisan Morcha president, Koppu Bhasha as SC Morcha president, Hussain Nayak as ST Morcha president, A. Bhaskar as OBC Morcha president and Afsar Pasha as Minority Morcha chief.

The party also appointed P. Rajani Kumari and Rakesh Reddy as party state spokespersons.

“I am very thankful to the BJP state president and senior leader of the party for selecting me as the party chief spokesperson again,” Sagar Rao said, adding that he would contribute to strengthen the party in the state.
