BBFS Residential Academy trials in Hyderabad on Saturday

Hyderabad: The nationally-famed Residential Academy, a flagship initiative of Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools (BBFS), is all set to conduct trials in Hyderabad for admission to the 2020 batch.
Open to players born between 2003 and 2010, the trials, to be held in separate batches depending on the age-group, will be conducted at Gymkhana Ground in Secunderabad on Saturday. Hyderabad is one among 35 cities identified to tap the immense potential that exists, both at the urban and rural areas.
For those born in 2008 ā 2010, the trials will commence at 9 am, followed an hour later for those born in 2006 and 2007 while youngsters born between 2003 and 2005, their kick-off will begin at 11 am, according to a release from BBFS, here on Wednesday.
BBFS is a dream of Indian football legend Bhaichung Bhutia to popularise the beautiful game at the grass-root level by offering high-quality coaching and training infrastructure. The selected players will be provided CBSE schooling along with the integrated football training program. Bhutia insists that the trainees will not just be exposed to education and training but beyond that, including diet, monitoring physical development, definitive competitive exposure and career guidance.
According to Kishore Taid, Co-founder and CEO of BBFS, āthis is our obsession. We have done this in the past as well. We have players from 20 States. Churning out football professionals is the aim.ā
BBFS has guided more than 20 players who have gone on to play for India, ISL clubs, I-League clubs while two have played for foreign clubs.
