Bhagyashree to play Prabhas's mother in his next

Hyderabad: With each passing day, expectations on Prabhas’s next are touching the sky. This Radha Krishna Kumar directorial has a new member in the cast. According to a source from the production house, the makers have roped in popular actress Bhagyashree to play mother to Prabhas in the film. “She is excited to be on board for the film and to share screen space with Prabhas. Also, she hopes that her fans will be happy to have her back on screen,” said the source.
Bhagyashree is known for her amazing performances in Hindi films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Paayal, Ghar Aaya Mera Pardesi and has been part of many Bengali, Kannada and Bhojpuri films too. After a long break, she is back to Telugu cinema with Prabhas 20. So when the actress has agreed to make a comeback to Telugu cinema, it is understood a strong character and a convincing remuneration has been offered to her.
Sources suggest that the eternal beauty has already landed in Hyderabad and has been shooting in RFC from Monday. However, there is no official confirmation from the makers. Details about other artists in the film are yet to be revealed.
Post Baahubali and Saaho, Prabhas has become a global star and is no longer just a south Indian star. His popularity has crossed boundaries and his fans from other countries even visit his house in Hyderabad to have a glimpse of him. And yes, of course, the ‘darling’ of the industry welcomes them with a warm heart.
Pooja Hegde is playing the leading lady in this period drama which is sets in the backdrop of 1980s. The first schedule of the film has been shot in some picturesque locations of Italy and now, it has been resumed recently in Hyderabad. A huge set has been erected in Ramoji Film City for the upcoming shoot, which is going on at a brisk pace and is expected to be wrapped up in a couple of months.
This film is being produced by UV Creations and Gopi Krishna Movies, which is owned by Krishnam Raju. Also, Prabhas has confirmed that the veteran actor is playing a key role in this film.
