Bhubaneswar Revenue Intelligence unearths foreign gold biscuit smuggling racket
By Newsmeter Network Published on 10 Oct 2019 2:42 PM GMTVisakhapatnam: The Bhubaneswar unit of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) unearthed a major foreign gold biscuit smuggling racket, arresting two passengers in a moving train.
Through special sources, intelligence officers of DRI Bhubaneswar learnt about the smuggling and intercepted two passengers, between Rourkela and Jharsuguda around 5 pm. They were travelling in Jnaneswari Super Deluxe Express that connects two major metro cities ā Kolkata and Mumbai.

The intelligence sleuths recovered foreign gold biscuits weighing 12.932 kg worth Rs 4.99 crore from the possession of the two passengers. Further investigation is in progress, according to the team.
