Bikers sans helmet thrash cops for clicking pictures, booked
By Aiswarya Sriram Published on 2 Dec 2019 11:07 AM GMTHyderabad: Kalivala Satheesh , a 23-year old� motorist sans helmet, abused and physically assaulted a Hyderabad traffic cops for clicking his pictures at� near Taj Island U-Turn in Nampally. The incident occurred on Sunday close to the Nampally railway station. The motorist with a pillion rider was taking a u-turn at Taj-Island when he was spotted without an helmet. On being click, the young lad abused the cops, the two created ruckus on the road demanding deletion of pictures.
Like any other usual day on duty, Traffic constable Zakir Hussain was clicking pictures of all those riding bikes without helmets, while they were taking U-turn near Taj Island. “While the traffic police were on the job, a guy without a helmet started arguing with the officers. He then suddenly started hitting our personnel. He was pulled back by the passers-by later,” said Nampally Traffic SHO, S. Saidulu.
The video shows how the man abused the traffic cops and a friend who was with him, ran to hit the traffic cop.�He is seen using filthy language, against the cop. The man is heard saying that the traffic cop has forced him to stop while he was taking a U-Turn at the junction and the traffic constable was unnecessarily clicking his pictures. His friend also tried to hit the cop taking the video.
Kalivala Satheesh, a fruit vendor by profession ,a resident of Bhoiguda Kaman mangalhat,� �later� took his scooter and fled away from the spot. Saidulu also said that Hussain suffered a bleeding injury on his left hand.
The Nampally Traffic cops soon booked a complaint with the Nampally police. The Nampally SHO told Newsmeter, “We registered a case� against the man under section 186 of IPC ( obstructing a public person from discharging his duty) and 353 IPC (assault on public servant from discharging public duty) . The motorist fled the spot however was taken into custody , said the cops.m
This is not the first incident in Hyderabad. In October 2018 also, a Nampally traffic constable was attacked by four men, near Niloufer Café.� The video of the same went viral on social media this September.
In July this year a Mallkajgiri traffic constable was attacked by three youth, whom he stopped for triple riding.�
