Brotherly love by the Telangana police during the Bakr-Id celebrations recently
By Samanth Lanka Published on 14 Aug 2019 9:19 AM GMTHyderabad’s Bahadurpura police station (PS) constable B Nikhil, 28, who was on duty during the Bakri-Id celebrations in a gesture displayed brotherhood towards Muslims who came to offer namaz at the Mir Alam, Eidgah, in Bahadurpura.
Talking to Newsmeter Nikhil said, “I was on duty that day. Our traffic assistant commissioner of police Babu Rao and I saw a Muslim child offering namaz without any cloth or paper on the floor. Muslims bow their heads during namaz, I took a paper and held it in front of the child while he was offering namaz.”
Bahadurpura inspector D. Durga Prasad, 48, said to Newsmeter, “I am proud of Nikhil and every one of us is here to help people.” He shared the incident on Twitter.

Previously also the Telangana police are known to have shown their human side whenever they have noticed any problems while on duty keeping to their friendly policing policies.
