Bumrah celebrates an early Raksha Bandhan and leaves for Windies
By Anurag Mallick Published on 14 Aug 2019 7:56 AM GMTTeam India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah celebrated Raksha Bandhan with his sister Juhika before leaving for the Test Series to WestIndies on Tuesday. The Test Series will begin from August 22, where India will play two test matches against the Windies and it also marks the beginning of the World Test Championship for India.
Due to the workload over the last few months, Bumrah was earlier rested for the T20s and the ODIs against the Windies. India who is ranked No.1 in the ICC test rankings would like to start well against the Windies and Bumrah’s addition to the team makes India a very strong and a complete team.
Bumrah shared a couple of pictures of him celebrating early Raksha Bandhan with his sister Juhika on Twitter.
Team India duties means I won't be here for Raksha Bandhan but I just couldn't miss out on celebrating with you, Juhika. Thank you for always being there for me. 🤗🤗 pic.twitter.com/ZkBMW0Xp3r
