`3L jobs: Jagan to unveil 2 industrial hubs in Kadapa

Kadapa, AP: Kadapa district is gearing up for the launch of two industrial hubs which will generate three lakh jobs.

The facilities at the Mega Industrial Hub (MIH) and YSR Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) will be inaugurated by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on December 23.

YSR Jagananna Mega Industrial Hub is being developed on 6,707 acres of land with an investment of Rs 25,000 crore. It will create job opportunities for 2.5 lakh youth.

The MIH will house 18 pharma, cement, and paint manufacturing units. It will be able to generate 2000 jobs.

YSR Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) is being developed on 540 acres of land with an investment of Rs.730.50 crore. The EMC is expected to attract investment of Rs. 10,000 crore and generate employment for one lakh youth.


Dixon Technologies (surveillance system, laptops, tablets), Digiconn Solutions (television, laptops, IoT devices), United Telelinks Neolyncs Private Limited (mobile phone chargers), Celkon Resolute Electronics LLP (smartphones, setup boxes, mobile handsets), and Chandrahas Enterprises (power banks, chargers, headphone), would set up their manufacturing facilities at YSR EMC in Kadapa.

As many as six electronics companies will invest around Rs 603 crores and generate employment for 7,391 people. Around 18 MSMEs will be investing over Rs 84.3 crores and generate 1,192 jobs. Over 430 acres have been allocated to 47 industries with an investment of Rs 1,837 crore.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be signing MoUs with seven leading manufacturers of solar cells, module players, electronic batteries, charging station providers, and others.

These companies will be investing over Rs 3,790. The state is likely to have MoUs with 7 industry consortiums including Taiwan Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Business Russia and Foxconn, the world's largest original equipment manufacturer. These companies are interested in setting up electronics manufacturing units in Andhra Pradesh.

Industrial Hubs are eco-friendly and provide a risk-free environment for the companies.
