CM Naidu reaches out to global investors in UAE with focus on petrochemicals, AI, health-tech in Andhra
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh has abundant opportunities for investments in petrochemicals and the oil sector, said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The chief minister held meetings with representatives of oil companies and explained to them the available opportunities in the state.
The chief minister, as part of his UAE tour on the second day on Thursday, met ADNOC global trading representative Ahmed Bin Thalit in Al Maryah Island of Abu Dhabi.
Investments in the petrochemical and green energy sectors
The CM explained to him the available opportunities for investments in petrochemical, oil, LNG, gas processing, port logistics and green energy sectors in Andhra Pradesh.
He said the surrounding places of Krishnapatnam, Machilipatnam, Ramayapatnam and Kakinada ports are more suitable for investments in petroleum products. Both parties decided to prepare a road map for technical cooperation between ADNOC and Andhra Pradesh.
AP window to fast-track business investments
Later, the chief minister met Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce chairman Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, G42 International CEO Mansoor Al Mansoori and discussed with them on ease of doing business and speed of doing business opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.
He said the services of a quantum computer will be available in Amaravati from January. He invited them to the Visakha CII partnership summit.
Participating in a luncheon meeting with industrialists in Abu Dhabi, the chief minister explained his aim to make Andhra Pradesh a technology destination. He also explained the opportunities available for investments in data centres, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, fintech, health tech, cloud computing and digital governance in Andhra Pradesh.
CM Naidu proposed a working group for coordination between technology companies in the UAE and Andhra Pradesh.
