Dubai Expo 2020: AP to display its business-friendly policies to attract global investors

Visakhapatnam: The government of Andhra Pradesh is all set to showcase its business-friendly policies and growth opportunities to global investors at Expo 2020's India Pavilion in Dubai from 11 to 17 February.

The state will showcase the rapid strides it has made in attracting investments in manufacturing and developing ports, multi-modal logistic parks, industrial corridors, industrial parks, and fishing harbours along with development in education, medical, and tourism sectors.

The state floor at India Pavilion will be inaugurated by minister for industries, commerce, and Information Technology Mekapati Goutham Reddy in the presence of UAE minister of state for foreign trade Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE ambassador to India Dr. Ahmed Albanna, and India ambassador to UAE Sunjay Sudhir.

Following the inauguration ceremony, a special cultural programme is being organized by the Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS) to showcase the timeless culture and legacy of the state at the amphitheatre at the India Pavilion.

During the Expo, a high-level delegation led by Mr. Reddy will attend various business meetings in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to discuss potential collaborations with top corporations in UAE and present opportunities in various sectors in the state. The delegation will also meet various industry associations and conduct bilateral meetings to strengthen trade relations with the UAE.
