Invested Rs 10,000 crore: Karan Adani in Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025

Hyderabad: Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 – the mega event of the State government led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy – saw a few top-notch businessmen promising huge investments in the state.

Karan Adani, the Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited and the son of tycoon Gautam Adani, announced that the group has invested Rs 10,000 crore in Telangana.

“Adani Group has invested in defence and cement manufacturing. The company will be investing in a defence and aerospace park in Hyderabad for over three years. The group is also involved in providing UAVs to the Indian Armed Forces and other defence bodies. The Telangana State is also home to a 48MW plant worth Rs 2,500 crores. Similarly, investments have been made in road infrastructure worth Rs 4,000 crores and Rs 2000 crores worth of Adani cement,” he said.

During the event, Karan Adani was seated with the Chief Minister and other dignitaries on the dais.

Shobana Kamineni, Executive Vice Chairperson of Apollo Hospitals and Executive Chairperson of Apollo Health Co. and Apollo Pharmacies, who was also present, announced an investment of Rs 1,700 crores in Telangana in the hospital and pharma sectors over the next couple of years.

‘Bengaluru and Hyderabad are not competing with each other’

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shiva Kumar also participated in the event.

“I would like to thank the people of Telangana for bringing the Congress government to power after 10 years, and we will deliver it all. Telangana is competing globally, not with Bengaluru. Though I had an Assembly session to attend, I decided to attend the Global Summit. The entire South India stands with Telangana, as the vision of the state CM is great, and we are all here to support,” he said while addressing the attendees.

He further adds, Hyderabad and Bengaluru are not competing with each other but with global ambitions. If you want to walk far, walk together, and that is what the two cities are doing.

Telangana is a small state, but with a good talent pool. International leaders are here because they have confidence in us. Development is not a magic, it is a lot of hard work and strategy, said Shiv Kumar.
