Pegasystems launches ‘Expert Circles’ to engage and upskill India’s Pega developer community

Hyderabad: Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), the Enterprise Transformation Company™, has launched Expert Circles, a new community initiative aimed at deepening engagement and upskilling among Pega developers in India. The announcement was made at PegaInnovate 2025, the company’s flagship developer event.

India, which accounts for over 50% of the world’s Pega developer talent, is the first country to see the rollout of this global initiative. The company plans to host small-scale, in-person meetup sessions across its Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

Community-driven learning

Each Expert Circle session will accommodate up to 50 participants and include curated topic discussions on Pega’s core technologies such as Blueprint, App Design, and User Experience. These sessions will also feature live demonstrations and Q&A opportunities with Pega’s subject matter experts.

Beyond technical enablement, the initiative aims to create feedback loops between developers and Pega’s internal teams, support peer learning, and offer practical exposure to real-world enterprise transformation projects powered by platforms like Pega Infinity.

Building the future of autonomy

Expert Circles are part of Pega’s broader global engagement strategy, first announced at PegaWorld 2025, to support the growth of the Pega Developer Community through ongoing learning and professional visibility.

“India is the heartbeat of the Pega developer ecosystem,” said Deepak Visweswaraiah, senior vice president and managing director, Pegasystems India.

“Through Expert Circles, we want to create an environment where developers from client and partner organisations can learn directly from Pega’s subject matter experts, stay updated on our platform innovations, and most importantly, get recognised for their expertise.”

Don Schuerman, chief technology officer and vice president of product strategy and marketing at Pegasystems, added, “We want to listen as much as we share. Expert Circles are as much about learning from our developers about what works, what doesn’t, and what they need as they are about showing them what’s new.”

A step toward scalable transformation talent

While initially focused on Pega developers, the Expert Circles initiative is positioned to strengthen the wider digital transformation ecosystem by nurturing platform fluency and industry-relevant skills. By promoting hands-on knowledge exchange and career visibility, Pega aims to bridge the gap between technical learning and implementation in AI-powered enterprise systems.

The India launch marks the beginning of a phased global rollout for Expert Circles, with similar developer engagement opportunities expected to follow in other major regions.
