Telangana IT Minister Sridhar Babu to perform Bhoomi Pooja for 4 projects worth ₹3,225 Cr in Mahabubnagar

Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu will perform the Bhoomi Pooja (groundbreaking ceremony) for four industrial projects at Divitipally in the Mahabubnagar district on Saturday. The projects will involve a total investment of ₹3,225 crore.

Key Investments:

Amara Raja Advanced Cell Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is investing ₹9,852 crore over the next decade across 262 acres, creating 4,500 direct jobs. While two units are already under construction, today marks the Bhoomi Pooja for a third unit worth ₹1,900 crore.

Altimin Pvt. Ltd. will establish a manufacturing facility for Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) technology-based batteries and key components. Spanning 20 acres, the project will be developed in two phases over three years, with an ₹800 crore investment, generating 300 jobs.

Lohum Materials Pvt. Ltd. is setting up a waste processing plant on 20 acres with a ₹502 crore investment. The facility, developed in two phases over five years, will process 1.25 million tonnes of waste annually and create 120 jobs.

Cell Energy Pvt. Ltd. will manufacture nickel-coated steel cans and caps for lithium-ion cells. The plant, covering 6 acres, involves an investment of ₹23 crore and will provide 150 jobs.

These strategic investments reinforce Telangana’s position as a hub for advanced technology and sustainable industries, driving economic growth and job creation in the region.
