Visakhapatnam: Gajuwaka has slipped into a shock after a businessman's family held a two-year-old boy to recover dues from his father.

After the boy's father lodged a police complaint, the family sent him home in a taxi.

The boy's father Naresh Kumar Yadav owns SB Transport Company and his clients include SAIL and other agencies.

Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Naresh's company owed Rs 40 lakh to Biswal Marine Corporation but had sought some time to repay the outstanding dues.

"On Saturday afternoon, Pradeep Kumar Biswal, the owner of the marine company along with his wife and 10-year-old son came to my house in my absence and spoke to my wife. Later, Biswal offered chocolates to my two-year-old boy Mayank and took him outside the house," he said in his complaint.

When Naresh reached home and enquired about his son, Biswal's wife told all kinds of stories but did not reveal the truth. Later, with the help of his friends, he lodged a formal complaint with the police.

Later Biswal's wife said she would release the boy only after they deposited Rs 40 lakh in her husband's account. Naresh expressed his helplessness and urged the police to help.

When police questioned Biswal's wife, who was in Naresh's house, she refused to reveal the details. Later, Biswal chickened out and sent the boy in the taxi to his house along with another man at 8 pm.

Biswal had offered the taxi driver Rs 15 lakh to take the kidnapped child to Kakinada, police said.

Police arrested Biswal's wife, his employees Bishu and Prabhujit, and the taxi driver. Main accused Pradeep Biswal is still at large.
