CBSE releases date sheet for Class X, XII pending exams

Hyderabad: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the revised date sheet of remaining Class X and Class XII exams on Monday. The remaining exams which were earlier postponed due to nationwide lockdown, in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, will be conducted by from July 1 to July 15, 2020.

According to the CBSE Class X date sheet, Social Science exam will be conducted on July 1 , Science (theory) will be conducted on July 2, Hindi (Course A & B) will be conducted on July 10 and English Communicative will be conducted on July 15.

As per the CBSE Class XII date sheet, Home Science exam will be conducted on July 1, Hindi (Elective) exam on July 2, Physics exam in Northeast Delhi will be conducted on July 3, accountancy exam (Northeast Delhi) will be conducted on July 4, Chemistry (Northeast Delhi) will be conducted on July 6, 2020.

Informatics (Practical) exam, Computer Science and Information Tech will be conducted on July 7, English (Elective-N, C and Core) (Northeast Delhi) exam will be conducted on July 8, Business Studies on July 9, Biotechnology on July 10, Geography exam on July 11, Sociology exam on July 13, Political Science (Northeast Delhi) on July 14 and Mathematics, Economics, History, Biology exam (in Northeast Delhi area) will be conducted on July 15,2020.

The Board has instructed the students to carry their own hand sanitiser in transparent bottles. The candidates are also advised to cover their nose and mouth with mask/cloth and follow the physical distance norms.

CBSE has instructed the parents to guide their wards about precautions to be taken by them to avoid spread of Covid-19. The parents will also have to ensure that their ward is not sick. The candidates are strictly instructed to follow all the guidelines in examination centres while appearing for the exams.

The answer books would be distributed to the candidates between 10 am and 10:15 am and the question papers would be distributed at 10:15 am. The candidates will be given 15 minutes time to read the question papers and the candidates can start writing the answers at 10:30 am.
