CBSE to conduct pending class X, XII board exams from July 1 to 15

Hyderabad: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the pending board exams of classes X and XII from 1 to 15 July, said Union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on 8 May. The CBSE board exams had been postponed in view of the nationwide lockdown due to the COVID019 pandemic in the country.

Exams for North East District Delhi will be conducted for Class 10 from July 1 to July 15,2020. Remaining examinations across the country will be conducted from July 1 to July 15 for Class 12.

Mr Pokhriyal tweeted, "The students and their parents have been waiting for the schedule of the remaining CBSE class X and XII board exams. Today we have decided the date of these examinations. The examinations will be conducted from July 1 2020 to July 15 2020. I convey my best wishes to all the students who participated in this examination."



The board authorities will soon release a detailed date sheet for the remaining examinations on its official website. CBSE has instructed all students and parents to regularly check the official website for more details.

In an official statement released on 29 April, the board had said that 10-days time would be given to all stakeholders before conducting the examinations. The board had released the statement after receiving several queries regarding the class X and XII examinations.
