Charan, NTR shoot awareness video about Covid-19

Hyderabad: As the shoot for their upcoming movie ‘RRR’ has been put on hold due to COVID-19, actors Ram Charan and Junior NTR have released a video to raise awareness about the pandemic.

In the video, Charan and NTR junior explain the six measures stated by the WHO to be taken to help prevent and reduce the spread of the virus. The actors suggest that we maintain the recommended distance from others and stay clean ourselves in order to avoid catching the virus. NTR junior has requested everyone to not count on the WhatsApp forwards as it would do no good other than create panic among people. DCP M. Ramesh extended his support by sharing the video on Twitter and requesting the public to stay calm and follow the required measures.

The most common and even curable symptoms are common cough, flu, and shortness of breath but some serious cases may even lead to pneumonia and death. This virus was not detected in humans earlier but has been discovered recently. COVID-19 is from a large family of viruses of the kind like MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV that are known to cause respiratory ailments. Sanitizing our hands and surroundings and staying indoors while sick would be a favour that we wouldn't just be doing ourselves but also those around us.

Although the making of the movie has been suspended for a couple of weeks, the actors have taken their time out to spread an important message.

‘RRR’ portrays the chronicles of the Bravehearts Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem. It is being directed by Rajamouli and produced by D.V.V Danayya. It stars NTR Jr, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn. This also marks Alia’s debut into the Telugu film industry.
