Charred body of veterinary doctor found on Hyderabad-Bengaluru NH 44

It was a milk vendor who noticed a burning body, alerted the police. With the help of her clothes, police identified the victim as Dr Disha (name changed), a veterinary doctor practising in Mahabubnagar district of Telangana. Lorry drivers are suspected to have abducted and murdered the 26-year-old doctor.
On receiving the alert from the milk vendor, Cyberabad Cops along with clues team and a sniffer dog rushed to the spot and found a completely charred body. Based on the missing complaint details, Dr Disha (name changed) family who live in Shamshabad was informed. They also arrived at the spot and confirmed it was Dr. Disha (name changed).
Inquiries revealed that Disha (name changed), on Wednesday evening had gone to Gachibowli for medical treatment. The lady reportedly parked her two-wheeler near a toll plaza at Tondupally and took a cab to Gachibowli. On her return when she reached the toll plaza her bike was found punctured. She then called her younger sister at home and informed that the bike had broke-down, it was 9. 30 PM. Disha(name changed) also revealed that few 'unidentified persons' have approached to help her. On hearing this, her sister advised her to leave the bike and take a cab. Disha (name changed) reply was ' I will call you back '. She reported they gave a scooter to a teen (stranger ) and sent him to get it repaired, but the teen came back saying all shops were closed.
"Disha(name changed) in conversation with me, said that some persons are trying to help her, but she is feeling 'scared', she asked me to keep talking to her. I told her to leave the vehicle and come home. I also told her to go to the toll booth instead and wait until the vehicle is repaired. Disha (name changed) told me that she would return my call," said her sister.
But ten minutes later, her mobile was found switched off, she said. The family members immediately lodged a missing complaint at Shamshabad police station and began a hunt for her. The family members reported searched the toll plaza and the Bengaluru - Hyderabad NH, Disha (name changed) was missing and only found dead the next morning.
Police have registered a murder case and started a probe, lorry drivers are suspected to have abducted and killed her police said The investigation is under-way. The family was handed over her body, the last ritual happened at old city on Thursday.
In the wake of this incident, the Rachakonda Police has issued an advisory, the cops have asked women and senior citizens to call the police in the time of distress. " We appeal to the public especially women and senior citizens to seek the assistance of the police in case of vehicle breakdown or tyres puncture during odd hours. The nearest police team will assist the distressed in getting the vehicle repaired or help them to reach their destination in a safe manner.
