Chay hikes remuneration, charges Rs 8 Crore for his next

Hyderabad: Chaitanya Akkineni is clearly on a roll with the release of Majili and Venky Mama. Majili went on to become a big hit where he acted along with his beloved wife for the first time post marriage. Chay is also busy shooting the movie Love Story opposite Sai Pallavi, directed by Sekhar Kammula.

Well, we all are aware of the whole demand, supply and inflation chain. Looks like, with demand for Chay, there is inflation in his remuneration. The news going around the industry now is that the Akkikeni Prince has hiked his remuneration by many multifold.

Chay is charging a whopping amount of Rs. 8 crores for his upcoming film. The said film is being directed by Parasuram of Geetha Govindham fame. The film is not titled yet. It is going to be a love story with a touch of emotions revolving around families. The movie is presented by 14 Reels Plus banner.

The pre-production work of the film has already kick-started and is said to be going strong. The movie will go on floors once Chay finishes shooting for Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story.

Chay has been earning a lot of appreciation from his critics with each passing movie for sharpening his acting prowess. The first look of Love Story reached the audience through Samantha’s Instagram, a few weeks ago, where she mentioned she can’t wait for the movie to release.

Chay’s last outing with his maternal uncle Venkatesh Daggubati did raise a lot of expectation among fans post the release of the trailer but the movie was liked only by select audiences. Since his next to going to be with Sekhar Kammula and Sai Pallavi, the audience is excited all over again to see him on the 70mm screen.
