CID registered case against TDP member for posting defamatory comments on Facebook

Vijayawada: The Crime Investigation Department ( CID) on 20th August, registered a case against Ramanaiah Peddineni of TDP, Bhimavaram for allegedly posting defamatory posts on Facebook against the BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao.
K G Srinivas of Vijayawada city lodged a complaint with CID stating that they have found several messages and images on Facebook targetting Member of Rajya Sabha and National Spokesperson of BJP, GVL Narasimha Rao.
The messages and images were posted on Facebook by a TDP person Ramanaiah.
The postings on Facebook are fake and tarnished the image of GVL Narasimha Rao.
Srinivas mentioned in the complaint that Ramanaiah posted that how many people know that GVL is Brother Anil Kumar's aunt's son. GVL's relationship with YSRC proves this fact. Is the purpose of GVL visit to Tadepalli to meet A1 for relationship or for the package?
Strongly condemning the posts on Facebook by TDP people, Srinivas lodged a complaint with CID to investigate into the matter.
The CID had registered a case under Sections 153 (A), 505 (2), 295 (A) of IPC and investigation is on.
