Class X student slips to death at Bodakonda waterfall

Identified as Saheb Eshwar Singh, he lost balance while trekking and slipped down the hill. He suffered head injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead.
A resident of Attapur in the city, Saheb Eshwar Singh was studying in class X. On Sunday, he along with eleven other friends, all from the same locality, had gone to the Tellabanda waterfall near Bodakonda village on their bikes.
Around 5 pm, when the group was walking on the hill, Singh lost balance and landed on the rocks. He sustained a severe head injury and was rushed to the Government hospital at Ibrahimpatnam, where doctors declared him dead.
This little known picnic spot usually remains deserted, but due to the recent rains, the water flow has increased. In recent days, the number of visitors to this place has increased.
After the incident, police have increased vigil in the area and urged the public to be extra cautious while moving around in the area. Meanwhile, the IMD has issued a heavy rain warning for Telangana during the next four days.
