Where is KCR? Congress youth detained for protest at Pragathi Bhavan

Hyderabad: Two youth who staged a flash protest in front of Telangana Chief Minister's Camp Office, Pragati Bhavan were detained by the Punjagutta police on Wednesday. The duo are reportedly Congress party supporters.

In a photo, which has gone viral the youth is seen holding a poster, it read, "Where is KCR, He is my CM, Its my right to know'.The two reportedly slipped away from the security force deployed at the CM's residence. The youth has been identified as Saibaba Kotla, a Congress youth leader.

Punjagutta police of the Hyderabad Commissionerate, traced the two at their residence in Hasthinapuram on late Wednesday night.The father of the youth Kotla Srinivas, a Congress leader alleged that the police had forcefully entered their house at night and arrested his son and another youth for taking part in the protest. "They (referring to the police, drag them out through their collar and detained them. I demand the cops to release my son" he said.

To recall, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has not been seen in public for the past 10 days even as the state continues to report an increasing number of COVID-19 cases.

C.H Naveen Kumar alias Teen maar Mallana has already filed a writ petition in the High Court urging the state government to disclose the whereabouts of the Chief Minister.
