By Newsmeter Network Published on 3 Dec 2020 2:17 PM GMTHyderabad: The subscribers of State Bank of India's YONO app have been facing difficulty accessing the app since late Wednesday evening. Also, the BHIM UPI account attached to the SBI has not been working either.
"If there are technical issues, we usually get a notification that YONO app will not work for some time, but we haven't received anything like that so far even when the app has not been working for 24 hours," said Ayushya, a YONO app user. "Nowadays most of the transactions are done through the phone only, and since even the BHIM UPI is not working we are facing difficulties making payments," he added.
While regretting the inconvenience, SBI has clarified that the app has been impacted by a system outage. "Steps are being taken for the restoration of the uninterrupted service. We regret the inconvenience caused and request our customers to use online SBI and YONO lite for their banking needs," said SBI in its statement.

Many users took social media to show their displeasure with the app. "It's been two days and I am still unable to transfer money. Why does it take two days to fix an issue? Very disappointed," said Mahesh, a user of the app.
It's been 2 days, Iam trying to transfer money. I never heard of such issues that need 2 days to fix it. The expectancy of issue resolution is 1 or 2 hours. Very disappointed.
