Cops house looted in Mahabubnagar district, Telangana

Hyderabad: A burglary took place in a locked house in broad daylight. The unidentified offenders broke into a cop's home in Mahabubnagar district in Telangana. In less than fifteen minutes, they broke the lock of the main door, gained entry into the house and decamped with cash and jewellery.

The incident happened at Mahabubnagar town on Monday afternoon, when Venkatesh, who works in the Finger Prints Bureau, along with his family members, had left home to attend a function.

According to police, Venkatesh is residing at Vigneshwara colony. On Tuesday evening, when they returned home from the function, they found the main door thrown open. Further, it was found that the main door lock was broken and all household articles were lying scattered. They found that the almirah in the bedroom was also broken.

Family members found that the suspects decamped with thirty grams of gold, silver articles, some cash and a mobile phone.

Cop's have registered a case and started a probe.
