Coronavirus: TDP MLAs, MLCs to donate one-month salary to CM’s relief fund

Hyderabad: The Telugu Desam Party MLAs and MLCs have announced that they will donate one month’s salary each to the AP Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).

TDP president N. Chandrababu, during an online conference with party members, discussed the need to contribute to the CMRF. The funds so collected could be used by the government in the battle against the Corona virus epidemic. Mr Naidu also announced he will donate Rs. 10 lakh on behalf of his family and urged people to contribute generously to the government to fight the virus.

Meanwhile, TDP MP K. Rammohan Naidu said he will donate his one-month salary to Srikakulam Corona virus victims. He also donated Rs. 70 lakh to MPLADS. The MP wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking financial assistance for small traders and daily wage workers who are suffering due to the lockdowns and curfew.
