The TTD Board has decided to refund the Special Entry Darshan fee of Rs. 300 being collected per head. Amounts paid for Arjitha Seva and also for accommodation both in Tirumala and Tirupati would also be allowed to be postponed or cancelled of those booked up to May 31. The devotees wishing to avail of this facility have to send a request mail to dyeotemple@gmail.com.
Normally, TTD does not refund any amount in case of cancellation.
Given the first reported positive case of coronavirus, the administration has also started awareness centres for devotees and prevention measures at Alipiri Tollgate, Alipiri, and Srivari Mettu footway from Friday. They will disseminate information through SVBC and its radio and broadcasting services. The Board is planning to display promos at Vaikuntham queue complex, and other places where LED screens are in place.
