COVID 19: Telangana reports 1,196 fresh COVID cases, Five deaths on Tuesday
Telangana reported 1,196 new COVID cases on Tuesday taking the overall tally to 2,53,651 in the state.

Five new deaths are reported on November 10 taking the total tally to 1,390. The fatality rate in the state is 0.54 per cent which is less than the national average of 1.5 per cent.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area reported 192 new cases while Rangareddy reported 121 new cases. Districts of Telangana is seeing the increase in cases. Medchal Malkajigiri reported 101 new cases while Karimnagar reported 73 new cases.
Around 1,745 citizens recovered from the infection on Tuesday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,34,234. The recovery rate, as per the government now stands at 92.34 per cent, which approximately equals the national average of 92.7 per cent.
The government tested 44,635 citizens for the virus on Tuesday. So far 47,29,401 samples have been tested in the state. Samples tested per million population stand at 1,27,066. Still, 555 reports are awaited.19,639 primary contacts are tested on Tuesday while 5,356 secondary contacts are tested.
The state currently has 18,027 active cases. Of the total active cases, 15,207 are under home isolation. Of total positive cases, 70 per cent are asymptomatic with no severe signs of distress while 30 per cent are symptomatic.
According to the state, men aged between 31 and 40 years contribute to 14.72 per cent of the total cases. Women aged between 21 and 30 years contribute to 9.02 per cent of the total cases. The deaths due to comorbidities have risen to 55.04 per cent. 44.96 per cent of victims had no comorbidities.
