COVID 19: Telangana reports 157 new cases, one death in last 24 hours
Around 166 citizens recovered from the infection on Sunday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,97,681.

The state reported one new death on March 14 taking the total death tally to 1,654.
The fatality rate in the state is 0.54 per cent which is less than the national average of 1.4 per cent.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area reported 35 new cases while Rangareddy reported 11 new cases. Districts of Telangana is seeing an increase in cases. Medchal Malkajigir reported 12 news cases while Karimnagar reported 9 cases.
Around 166 citizens recovered from the infection on Sunday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,97,681. The recovery rate, as per the government now stands at 98.79 per cent, which approximately one per cent higher than the national average of 96.7 per cent.
The government tested 38,517 citizens for the virus on Sunday. So far 92,38,982 samples have been tested in the state. Samples tested per million population stand at 2,48,226. Still, 237 reports are awaited.
The state currently has 1,983 active cases. Of the total active cases, 715 are under home isolation. Of total positive cases, 70 per cent are asymptomatic with no severe signs of distress while 30 per cent are symptomatic.
According to the state bulletin, men aged between 31 and 40 years contribute to 14.72 per cent of the total cases. Women aged between 21 and 30 years contribute to 9.02 per cent of the total cases. The deaths due to comorbidities have risen to 55.04 per cent. 44.96 per cent of victims had no comorbidities.
