COVID 19: Telangana reports 805 fresh COVID cases, Four deaths on Saturday

Four new deaths are reported on November 28 taking the total tally to 1,455. The fatality rate in the state is 0.54 per cent which is less than the national average of 1.5 per cent.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area reported 131 new cases while Rangareddy reported 58 new cases. Districts of Telangana is seeing the increase in cases. Medchal Malkajigiri reported 82 new cases while Bhadradri Kothagudem 42 new cases.
Around 948 citizens recovered from the infection on Saturday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,57,278. The recovery rate, as per the government now stands at 95.56 per cent, which approximately one per cent higher than the national average of 93.7 per cent.
The government tested 46,280 citizens for the virus on Saturday. So far 54,20,421 samples have been tested in the state. Samples tested per million population stand at 1,45,631. Still, 612 reports are awaited.
The state currently has 10,490 active cases. Of the total active cases, 8,367 are under home isolation. Of total positive cases, 70 per cent are asymptomatic with no severe signs of distress while 30 per cent are symptomatic.
According to the state bulletin, men aged between 31 and 40 years contribute to 14.72 per cent of the total cases. Women aged between 21 and 30 years contribute to 9.02 per cent of the total cases. The deaths due to comorbidities have risen to 55.04 per cent. 44.96 per cent of victims had no comorbidities.
