COVID 19: Telangana reports 862 fresh COVID cases, Three deaths on Wednesday
Around 702 citizens recovered from the infection on Thursday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,55,378.

Four new deaths are reported on November 26 taking the total tally to 1,448. The fatality rate in the state is 0.54 per cent which is less than the national average of 1.5 per cent.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area reported 136 new cases while Rangareddy reported 55 new cases. Districts of Telangana is seeing the increase in cases. Medchal Malkajigiri reported 69 new cases while Bhadradri Kothagudem reported 33 new cases.
Around 702 citizens recovered from the infection on Thursday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,55,378. The recovery rate, as per the government now stands at 95.40 per cent, which approximately one per cent higher than the national average of 93.6 per cent.
The government tested 42,242 citizens for the virus on Thursday. So far 53,32,150 samples have been tested in the state. Samples tested per million population stand at 1,43,260. Still, 631 reports are awaited.
The state currently has 10,839 active cases. Of the total active cases, 8,651 are under home isolation. Of total positive cases, 70 per cent are asymptomatic with no severe signs of distress while 30 per cent are symptomatic.
According to the state bulletin, men aged between 31 and 40 years contribute to 14.72 per cent of the total cases. Women aged between 21 and 30 years contribute to 9.02 per cent of the total cases. The deaths due to comorbidities have risen to 55.04 per cent. 44.96 per cent of victims had no comorbidities.
