COVID 19: Telangana reports 925 fresh COVID cases, Three deaths on Friday
The government tested 42,077 citizens for the virus on Friday. So far 50,92,689 samples have been tested in the state.

Three new deaths are reported on November 20 taking the total tally to 1,367. The fatality rate in the state is 0.54 per cent which is less than the national average of 1.5 per cent.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area reported 161 new cases while Rangareddy reported 75 new cases. Districts of Telangana is seeing the increase in cases. Medchal Malkajigiri reported 91 new cases while Bhadradri Karimnagar reported 52 new cases.
Around 1,367 citizens recovered from the infection on Friday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,49,157. The recovery rate, as per the government now stands at 94.86 per cent, which approximately one per cent higher than the national average of 93.6 per cent.
The government tested 42,077 citizens for the virus on Friday. So far 50,92,689 samples have been tested in the state. Samples tested per million population stand at 1,36,826. Still, 438 reports are awaited.
The state currently has 12,070 active cases. Of the total active cases, 9,741 are under home isolation. Of total positive cases, 70 per cent are asymptomatic with no severe signs of distress while 30 per cent are symptomatic.
According to the state bulletin, men aged between 31 and 40 years contribute to 14.72 per cent of the total cases. Women aged between 21 and 30 years contribute to 9.02 per cent of the total cases. The deaths due to comorbidities have risen to 55.04 per cent. 44.96 per cent of victims had no comorbidities.
