COVID 19: Telangana reports 1,267 fresh COVID cases, Four deaths on Monday
Telangana reported 1,267 new COVID cases on Monday taking the overall tally to 2,52,455 in the state.

Four new deaths are reported on November 9 taking the total tally to 1,390. The fatality rate in the state is 0.54 per cent which is less than the national average of 1.5 per cent.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area reported 201 new cases while Rangareddy reported 104 new cases. Districts of Telangana is seeing the increase in cases. Medchal Malkajigiri reported 109 new cases while Nalgonda reported 89 new cases.
Around 1,831 citizens recovered from the infection on Monday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,32,489. The recovery rate, as per the government now stands at 92.09 per cent, which approximately equals to the national average of 92.6 per cent.
The government tested 42,490 citizens for the virus on Monday. So far 46,84,766 samples have been tested in the state. Samples tested per million population stand at 1,25,866. Still, 576 reports are awaited.18,695 primary contacts are tested on Monday while 5,098 secondary contacts are tested.
The state currently has 18,581 active cases. Of the total active cases, 15,794 are under home isolation. Of total positive cases, 70 per cent are asymptomatic with no severe signs of distress while 30 per cent are symptomatic.
According to the state, men aged between 31 and 40 years contribute to 14.72 per cent of the total cases. Women aged between 21 and 30 years contribute to 9.02 per cent of the total cases. The deaths due to comorbidities have risen to 55.04 per cent. 44.96 per cent of victims had no comorbidities.
