COVID-19:  SSC examinations scheduled from March 31 to April 6 postponed in Telangana

Hyderabad: All SSC examinations scheduled to be held between March 31 and April 6 are postponed. This is in view of the extended lockdown upto 14 April by the National Disaster Management Authority. The remaining SSC Public Examination March 2020 which were to be held from 23 March to 30 March are also postponed.

Earlier in view of the prevailing health situation arising out of Coronavirus the Telangana High Court had postponed SSC Public Examination March 2020 that was scheduled to be held from 23 March to 30 March.

SSC examinations scheduled to be held between March 31 and April 6 postponed

The rescheduled dates of SSC Public Examination and other examinations will be intimated later, said A Sathyanarayana Reddy, Director of Government Examinations in Telangana.

In the wake of the government’s decision for a 21 days lock down, several education boards have postponed their examinations.

The Central board of secondary education ( CBSE ) and ICSE ( Council for the Indian School certificate examinations) has decided to postpone the ongoing 10th class examinations in view of Coronavirus. The revised dates of the remaining exams will be notified in due course of time.

Likewise, The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) Telangana on 22 March postponed exams of Geography paper-II, Modern Language Telugu paper-II, Modern Language English paper-II, Modern Language Urdu paper-II, and Modern Language Hindi paper-II scheduled to be held on March 23. A fresh date of examination will be announced later.
