COVID 19: Telangana reports 1,536 fresh COVID cases, Three deaths on Monday

Three new deaths are reported on November 2 taking the total tally to 1,351. The fatality rate in the state is 0.55 per cent which is less than the national average of 1.5 per cent.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area reported 281 new cases while Rangareddy reported 92 new cases. Districts of Telangana is seeing the increase in cases. Medchal Malkajigiri reported 96 new cases while Khammam reported 97 new cases.
Around 1,421 citizens recovered from the infection on Monday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,23,413. The recovery rate, as per the government now stands at 92.12 per cent, which approximately higher to the national average of 91.7 per cent.
The government tested 45,021 citizens for the virus on Monday. So far 43,94,330 samples have been tested in the state. Samples tested per million population stand at 1,18,063. Still, 617 reports are awaited. 19,809 primary contacts are tested on Monday while 5,402 secondary contacts are tested.
The state currently has 17,742 active cases. Of the total active cases, 14,915 are under home isolation.
Of total positive cases, 70 per cent are asymptomatic with no severe signs of distress while 30 per cent are symptomatic.
According to the state, men aged between 31 and 40 years contribute to 14.72 per cent of the total cases. Women aged between 21 and 30 years contribute to 9.02 per cent of the total cases.
The deaths due to comorbidities have risen to 55.04 per cent. 44.96 per cent of victims had no comorbidities.
