COVID 19: Telangana reports 922 fresh COVID cases, Seven deaths on Sunday

Seven new deaths are reported on November 1 taking the total tally to 1,348. The fatality rate in the state is 0.55 per cent which is less than the national average of 1.5 per cent.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area reported 256 new cases while Rangareddy reported 56 new cases. Districts of Telangana is seeing the increase in cases. Medchal Malkajigiri reported 40 new cases while Karimnagar reported 42 new cases.
Around 1,456 citizens recovered from the infection on Sunday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,21,992. The recovery rate, as per the government now stands at 92.12 per cent, which approximately higher to the national average of 91.6 per cent.
The government tested 25,643 citizens for the virus on Sunday. So far 43,49,309 samples have been tested in the state. Samples tested per million population stand at 1,16,854. Still, 415 reports are awaited. 11,282 primary contacts are tested on Sunday while 3,077 secondary contacts are tested.
The state currently has 17,630 active cases. Of the total active cases, 14,717 are under home isolation.
Of total positive cases, 70 per cent are asymptomatic with no severe signs of distress while 30 per cent are symptomatic.
According to the state, men aged between 31 and 40 years contribute to 14.72 per cent of the total cases. Women aged between 21 and 30 years contribute to 9.02 per cent of the total cases.
The deaths due to comorbidities have risen to 55.04 per cent. 44.96 per cent of victims had no comorbidities.
