COVID positive Jagital Addt SP Dakshina Murthy dies of cardiac arrest
By Newsmeter Network Published on 26 Aug 2020 4:42 AM GMTHyderabad: Jagital Additional Superintendent of Police Dakshina Murthy died of a cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Karimnagar district of Telangana. The top cop was admitted for COVID treatment however succumbed to heart attack, doctors said.
Director General of police (DGP) M Mahender Reddy expressed his grief over the sudden demise of the top cop. While condolences poured in from the rest.

In May, A 37-year-old constable of Hyderabad city police died of COVID-19. He was posted in Kulsumpura police station. This was the first COVID related death in the Telangana police department.
