19YO JNTU Anantapur student dies by suicide
On 5 January, at around 5.30 a.m, he sent a message saying “Bye” to his friends and later, jumped off the hostel building.

Anantapur: A 19-year-old student of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur, died by suicide in the early hours of Thursday.
The second-year student of electronics and communications engineering (ECE) is from Udayagiri in the Nellore district. He was a good student and had secured a 9.8 GPA in the first year.
According to the police, he was happy when he talked to his friends the day before he died. On 5 January, at around 5.30 a.m, he sent a message saying "Bye" to his friends and later, jumped off the hostel building.
The police, upon receiving the information, visited the spot. They took the body to Sarvajana Hospital in Anantapur for postmortem. The police are yet to know the reason for his death. They are investigating the incident.
