19YO student held for robbing Madhapur home, stealing Rs. 20L
He was returning to his village with the stolen items on a Royal Enfield motorbike that had also been stolen.

Cash Rs. 24.63 lakh, 14 tulas gold ornaments, 8,134 US dollars, and other valuables, all worth Rs. 50 lakh, were recovered from Sakali Shiva Kumar, a student.
On the night of 24 February, Bodugum Vasudeva Reddy, a resident of Kavuri Hills in Madhapur, returned home and found that someone had broken into his home while he was out. He found that Rs. 20 lakh cash, some US dollars, and gold ornaments were missing from the cupboard. Following this, he registered a complaint with the Madhapur police.
On 25 February, on receiving credible information, the Madhapur police apprehended Shiva Kumar at Chatanpally in Shadnagar. He was returning to his village with the stolen items on a Royal Enfield motorbike that had also been stolen.
During interrogation, he not only confessed to the house burglary but also admitted to stealing a motorbike from Hasha Homes at Kavuri Hills.
The police found that Shiva Kumar's father Shankar had earlier worked as a watchman at Vasudeva Reddy's house. Shiva had also worked there and during this time he had made duplicate keys of the complainant's house. On 24 February, he had entered Mr. Reddy's house by scaling over the compound wall. He had the keys to his house so he had no difficulty in making his way inside. Once inside, he had broken the lock of the cupboard and stolen the cash and valuables.
