On the night of 24 February, Bodugum Vasudeva Reddy, a resident of Kavuri Hills in Madhapur, returned home and found that someone had broken into his home while he was out. Shiva had also worked there and during this time he had made duplicate keys of the complainant's house. On 24 February, he had entered Mr. Reddy's house by scaling over the compound wall.
