Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police arrested two Bangladeshi nationals at Hyderabad's RGI airport on 13 April with fake Indian passports and documents. They had arrived in the city from Dubai.

The accused have been identified as Prahlad Mondal and Jai Bala.

According to the police, the two are from Gopal Gunj in Bangladesh. They had crossed the international border a couple of years ago and entered India illegally via West Bengal. After staying for a while in West Bengal, they obtained fake identity proofs and other documents like Aadhar, got fake passports using these fake documents, and travelled to Dubai.

On Tuesday, they landed at RGI airport. While passing through the emigration checks, officials noticed their documents were suspicious and alerted the police.

Later, it was found that their passports and documents were fake and they were not Indian citizens. They were handed over to the police.
