2 drug peddlers busted with heroin, MDMA in Filmnagar, LB Nagar

According to police officials, āIrfan was actively peddling drugs in Hyderabad while working with a private company. Acting on a lead, the police devised a plan and sent an undercover officer disguised as a potential buyer to Irfan. As soon as the officer requested drugs, an unsuspecting Irfan handed over a small sachet containing the contraband. Seizing the opportunity, the police promptly arrested him.ā
During the subsequent investigation, it was found that Irfan had been procuring heroin from a person named Gayaj in Mumbai and selling it in Hyderabad for a profit. A case has been registered against the duo under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigation is underway. The police are currently in search of Gayaj.
In a separate incident, the LB Nagar Special Operation Team arrested Sumesh, a native of Kerala, for selling a significant quantity of MDMA drugs in the Vanasthalipuram area. Sumesh was allegedly procuring the drugs from Bangalore and selling them in Hyderabad for a substantial profit. The case is currently under further investigation.
