2 drug peddlers busted with heroin, MDMA in Filmnagar, LB Nagar

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police arrested a drug peddler in the Filmnagar area. The police seized 8.56 grams of heroin from the accused, identified as Mohammad Irfan from Tolichowki.
According to police officials, “Irfan was actively peddling drugs in Hyderabad while working with a private company. Acting on a lead, the police devised a plan and sent an undercover officer disguised as a potential buyer to Irfan. As soon as the officer requested drugs, an unsuspecting Irfan handed over a small sachet containing the contraband. Seizing the opportunity, the police promptly arrested him.”
During the subsequent investigation, it was found that Irfan had been procuring heroin from a person named Gayaj in Mumbai and selling it in Hyderabad for a profit. A case has been registered against the duo under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigation is underway. The police are currently in search of Gayaj.
In a separate incident, the LB Nagar Special Operation Team arrested Sumesh, a native of Kerala, for selling a significant quantity of MDMA drugs in the Vanasthalipuram area. Sumesh was allegedly procuring the drugs from Bangalore and selling them in Hyderabad for a substantial profit. The case is currently under further investigation.
