2 held for posting morphed photos, fake posts about Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad cyber crime police station has filed a case against two persons for posting morphed photos of Karimnagar MP and BJP Telangana president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
The FIR was filed after Neelam Bhargava Ram, an advocate, complained that Twitter handles @AnilgoudKTRs and @DharaniR had posted fake news and morphed photos of Bandi Sanjay Kumar. The Twitter handle @AnilgoudKTRs had posted a morphed photo of Bandi Sanjay Kumar on a gutka packet and @DharaniR had posted a fake news article by morphing the original headlines and showing Bandi Sanjay Kumar in a poor light, Mr. Ram said.
He alleged that the two Twitter handles are operated by TRS social media activists. They had posted the fake news and morphed photos with the intention to demean and defame Bandi Sanjay Kumar and to provoke and promote enmity between TRS and BJP activists, thereby creating a law and order problem.
After the complaint, the police registered a case under sections 469, 470, and 505 (2) of the IPC.
