2 MDMA dealers targeting pub-goers in metros held in Cyberabad, seized property worth Rs 1 Cr

Hyderabad: The SOT of the Madhapur team and Gachibowli Police arrested two inter-state drug peddlers and seized property worth Rs 1 crore from them.

The seized property includes 11 grams of MDMA, seven mobile phones and a Jaguar car.

The arrested, identified as Syed Abdul Rahman (27) and M Narendrasi Vanath (34), have previous records in drug cases registered in Cyberabad Commissionerate and other areas.

Case details

The police said that the accused have developed an extensive drug network in Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Goa. They target regular pub-goers in metropolitans to exploit them. They use the proceeds of their illegal drug trade to buy big fancy cars and luxury items to enjoy a lavish life.
