2 TRS MLA aides booked for abusing RTC driver in Shadnagar

Hyderabad: A case has been registered against two henchmen of a TRS MLA for abusing and assaulting a TSRTC driver in Shadnagar. The two people assaulted the driver on duty for not giving way to MLA and police convoy in Shadnagar police station limits on Hyderabad-Bengaluru highway.

As part of his daily routine, the RTC driver was returning with passengers from Wanaparthy to Hyderabad. As he was approaching the Royal Toll Plaza, the bus was stopped by an XUV 500 numbered TS09FA0809.

Following this, there was allegedly a minor altercation between the driver of the bus and the driver of the car. Later, the car driver along with two passengers in the car attempted to attack the bus driver.

The bus driver filed a complaint at the Shadnagar police station.

According to the details, the RTC driver is a resident of Upparapalli village in Wanaparthy district and has been working as a private driver in RTC for the past two years.

Sub-inspector V Sundarayya of Shadnagar PS registered a case against the accused under sections 341, 353, 506, 504, and 290 of the IPC.
